We live in a world
where media representation is as present in our everyday reality as
physical representation.
It is clear
that the media has
become an
undeniable part of our reality and has changed the premises of
communication.
With “appearance, deception, showtime”, we want
to investigate the power structures arising with the domination of
media.
In doing so, we simultaneously make a comment on the structures
involved in our artistic work with media as communication.
Hence, the
project involves several layers of meaning and content and we aspire
the audience to construct individual interpretations.
The
use of the colours red/ green/ blue (RGB) is a reference to the colour
system used by television and monitors.
